The 1941 plymouth trucks differed little from the re-designed 1939 model, and for good reason as chrysler realized that its truck market would not last for long due to ford and chevrolet already having the market cornered. The 1939 plymouth trucks had been completely revamped with a new cab and different styling giving its trucks more of a huskier look. The new design was not met with much success as the 1941 model year would be the last year that chrysler would produce a truck until the 1970s. Regardless, the pt-125 was a very efficient and reliable half ton truck, having a 201 cubic inch l-head inline 6 cylinder engine which developed 85 horsepower and 160 lb. This 1941 plymouth underwent a complete frame-off restoration that was performed quite some time ago, but still shows very well having only 3,351 miles since the restoration was completed. The period correct green exterior finish is in great condition with a great shine and is the perfect compliment to the black fenders and running boards, and the light finish of the oak bed and rails. Restoration photos show that the truck was completely disassembled including the entire drive train in order to be transformed into this rare showpiece. The interior of the truck was restored as well, with a re-paint of the dashboard and door panels, restoration of the gauges, and new upholstery on the seat this plymouth looks as good inside as it does from the outside.
